What is a HTMA test?

HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) is a non-invasive lab test that can assist in assessing health and nutritional status. It is not a diagnostic tool, but can give you insight to the root causes of your symptoms associated with conditions. The test involves sending a hair sample to a laboratory to assess mineral imbalances, deficiencies, and excesses of many essential and toxic elements.

Why test for minerals?

Minerals are the “spark plugs” that are essential for hundreds of physiological functions, including thyroid hormone utilization, digestive function, stress response, blood sugar balance, mental and emotional health...the list goes on!

Why use the hair?

First, it can easily and painlessly be done in the comfort of your own home. Second, clinical results have shown that it can give a 3-4 month indication of mineral status in the tissue.

What is a DUTCH test?

DUTCH (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) is a comprehensive dried urine test that goes beyond standard hormone panels, it provides a complete picture of your hormone production, metabolism, and balance over a full day. It measures key hormones like cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and their metabolites, giving a deeper insight into how your body is processing and using these hormones.

How can DUTCH Testing Help You?

If you are struggling with symptoms like fatigue, irregular periods, mood changes, sleep distubances, weight fluctuations, or menopause, DUTCH testing can help uncover the root causes. By identifying your body's hormone patterns, we can create personalized strategies to support better energy, hormone balance, and overall well-being whether you're navigating PCOS, perimenopause, or simply want to optimize your health.

How can Stool Testing Help You?

The health of the entire body is dependent on a healthy gut and gut microbiome. Gut microbes are codependent with one another and with their human host, and the health of one affects the other. A sizeable volume of research associates a dysbiotic, or imbalanced gut microbiome with multiple disease states both within and outside of the GI tract. The diverse metabolic activities of the microbiome ultimately impact the human host, and the activities of the human host ultimately affect the health of their microbiome.
